Ownership before convenience
Never blur the line between a reference and authority over the real source.
About Foldoria
Foldoria begins with a simple idea: people can remember where something is, not only what it is called. Spatial context can complement folders and search without replacing the files underneath.
The idea
Foldoria turns collections into rooms, boxes, books, cabinets and walls—objects that can carry visual meaning and physical memory.
It is deliberately not a cloud drive, a generic file manager or an immersive browser. The source of truth for external content stays where the user put it; Foldoria owns the spatial model around that content.
Product principles
Never blur the line between a reference and authority over the real source.
Use 3D for memory, grouping and navigation—not decoration that blocks ordinary access.
No account, telemetry or required service sits underneath the current local experience.
Distinguish working prototype features, native validation work and ideas that are not built.
Foldoria is a working Windows 11 desktop prototype with a substantial automated test and documentation baseline. It is not yet a signed public release, and this site does not invent a company size, user count, funding history or launch date.
